About Reminderville Police Department

The Reminderville Police Department was established in 1981 and is located at 3602 Glenwood Boulevard . The Reminderville Police Department is currently staffed with 8 full time officers and 8 part time officers. The Reminderville Police Department is headed by Chief Jeff Buck. Sergeant Michael Varga handles miscellaneous administrative duties in addition to his patrol duties. Officer Caroline Heaney is the police department's juvenile officer, and administrating officer to the Chief of Police. Officers Joseph Motz, James Siegfried and Marco Berquist, along with part time officers, patrol the streets of Reminderville.

Currently, the Village of Reminderville is broken up into several patrol zones. The northern end of the village is where the first residents settled in 1955. This is where the Reminderville Police and Service Departments are located. The Crossing at Pond Brook is a development of cluster homes and is accessible off Glenwood Boulevard . Aurora Shores was built in the early 1970's totaling approximately 900 homes. 95% of them are located in the Village of Reminderville . The Glenwood Pointe Apartments was annexed to the village by Twinsburg Township in 2001. It is located west of Aurora Shores . Willowbrook is a new development located on the northwest corner of Glenwood Boulevard . and Liberty Road . It is currently being constructed and will contain over 200 new homes. In addition, the police department patrols sections of the northbound lane of Liberty Road , just north of Post Road to the Solon City Line.

Officers are certified through the Ohio Peace Officer's Training Academy (OPOTA), which is required for all police officers in the State of Ohio .
