Police Action

The Reminderville Police Department is proud of its community and wants all of its residents to know that we are always here for them. The police department continues to keep busy with our calls for service continuously increasing. 2007 was a fast paced, busy year and many exciting things have occurred.

Remember, the State of Ohio Attorney General’s Office has an Identity Theft Passport Program for Ohio citizens who have been a victim of identity theft. Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in the country. The State of Ohio has over 100,000 victims alone. The Passport Program offers an identification card, (Passport) for victims to display to police and financial institutions to identify themselves as identity theft victims. The Passport Program puts the victims on the road to recovery in re-establishing their identity. The Reminderville Police Department’s participation in the Passport Program will began in 2005. Any questions regarding this program, please call the Reminderville Police Department’s Detective Bureau @ 330-425-7874 or the State of Ohio Attorney General’s Passport Program @ 1-888-MY-ID-4-ME.

Due to the construction in the Village of Reminderville and the ever expanding deer population, the Reminderville Police Department urges you to drive cautiously, observe the speed limit and prepare for sudden stops. Accidents involving deer can occur on any street in the village; but give extra caution to Glenwood Boulevard and Liberty Road .
